Research into the act of gazing aimlessly and the state of dysfunction as ‘undo’

Confronting autonomy and subordination within the autoform sculpture, 2025

The act of gazing aimlessly means to stop working systematically. A state of dysfunction substitutes an act of “undoing,” yet it still belongs to the currents from which it was born. In that process, a certain resilience forms an abstract figure, its meaning remaining unknown yet existing. What is given to us—and us ourselves—the interaction between autonomy and subordination, also reflects in our creative work.
